Graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Business degree. Immediately joined Baker Tilly as Financial Analyst & New Business Development Strategist, beginning to build relationships with underrepresented developers and understanding systemic barriers in capital access.
Promoted to Senior Associate & Underrepresented Developer Services Advisor at Baker Tilly. Launched as Program Director of DevelUP Initiative - a groundbreaking program focused on creating systemic change in commercial real estate.
DevelUP gained national attention with features in Forbes and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Elevated to National Program Manager, Matt led strategy that generated $3M+ in revenue and grew conference attendance by 300%+, convening 800+ industry stakeholders.
Joined EQ Housing Advisors as Executive Director, managing strategic vision for affordable housing initiatives. Named Advisory Board Chair for ULI Atlanta's Etkin Scholars Program, mentoring the next generation of real estate professionals.
